Nektra has reversed engineered many software products to analyze undocumented protocols, database structures, and internal interfaces.

Outlook Express, Windows Mail, and Windows Live Mail do not provide APIs to create addons. We have developed a complete framework to create plugins for Outlook Express and Windows Mail (OEAPI) and Windows Live Mail (WLMailApi). We have reverse engineered their internal interfaces to develop an API which creates, reads, updates, and deletes data and UI controls on email clients. We have sold hundreds of licenses for these software products to antivirus, anti-spam and CRM companies.

We have extensive experience in reverse engineering legacy software and old databases to migrate them to new enviroments.
